Alice is an approximately three year old terrier mix who weighs about 25 lbs. We have no idea what she's mixed with, but whatever it is, it makes her especially cute! She has a long body and short legs with a wonderful wire-haired coat. Alice's foster mom loves her; she enjoys people, loves walks and just wants to keep you company. She's an easy-going girl who will happily give you kisses all day long! She loves to play fetch, and will chase after her tennis ball for as long as your arm can handle it! While Alice adores every human she meets, Alice had an unfortunate incident with a larger dog that makes her want to keep her distance from dogs, so she would do best as an only dog. Alice would love a home that will alternate between rubbing her belly and throwing her tennis ball for her! Think you could see yourself with our goofy girl as your sidekick? Fill out an application! If you are interested in meeting multiple animals please put all their names on one application. 4. The adoption committee will email you to confirm receipt of your application as long as you have an email address listed on your application. Please print the email address as clearly as possible so that we are able to confirm receipt. 5. If the dog is a good match for your family our volunteer callers will call you to set up a meeting. The Yolo County SPCA is a volunteer run organization and are only able to call back if the dog would be a good match for your family based on the information received from the volunteer foster families). All of our canines are altered (spayed & neutered), puppies are started on their shots, adults are up to date and have been heart worm tested (negative) and all dogs are micro chipped. The adoption fee is $175 (which covers all of these costs) for all dogs and puppies. We also have special discounted adoption fees for Senior citizens (65+ years). Fees for dogs 5 years of age and older are $75, and fees for dogs under 5 years of age are $140. THERE IS NO SHELTER FOR YOU TO VISIT BECAUSES WE ARE A FOSTER BASED ORGANIZATION.
